Overview
Revolt: Gear by Gear is a mobile puzzle game where you play as a malfunctioning droid trying to escape the factory it was built to serve.
After breaking free from its programming, you must solve mechanical puzzles by placing and connecting gears, gradually working your way through the factory while avoiding its hostile systems and inhabitants.
This was the 2nd game project at The Game Assembly, focused specifically on mobile game development using Unity. The goal was to create a casual, accessible puzzle experience designed around touch interaction and short play sessions.
What I Did
- Wwise Implementation – Integrated audio using Wwise, handling events and in-game feedback
- Sound Design – Created and implemented sound effects for interactions and feedback
- Scene Handling – Managed scene transitions and overall structure
- UI Systems – Built responsive UI tailored for mobile devices
- Touch Input – Implemented touch controls for precise and intuitive gameplay
