Overview
On Thin Ice is an endless runner where you play as a penguin racing through icy environments, gliding at high speeds and performing tricks to gain points.
This was the 1st game project at The Game Assembly, developed in Unity. For many on the team, including myself, it was our first experience with game development, making it a foundational project focused on learning core systems and workflows.
What I Did
- Player Movement – Implemented core movement and gliding mechanics
- Sound Design – Created and integrated audio for gameplay feedback
- Camera System – Built a dynamic camera with collision handling against environment
